Ozonated Oil

Ozonated oil is a topical use of ozone. Ozone is bubbled through oil to produce ozonides.

Ozonated oil is an effective alternative skin treatment to steroid and antibiotic creams which are regularly prescribed for conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. The effects of prolonged steroid cream use is well documented and withdrawal symptoms are unpleasant. The skin becomes unable to produce natural oils and becomes dehydrated. This can last years. Anything we put on our skin has a systemic effect. There are a number of toxic compounds in mainstream beauty products that are harmful to our system and have a negative systemic effect. Our certified ozonated oil is 100% organic, cold-pressed and natural with only two simple ingredients – oil and ozone.

How does ozonated oil work?

Ozone eliminates pathogens and by releasing O2, activates the proliferation of fibroblasts and then stimulates the successive healing processes.

As an antiseptic, ozonated oil kills off bad bacteria and stimulates growth factors which speeds up healing. Ozonated oil also stimulates the body to produce collagen which is important for skin’s elasticity. Stimulating collagen production helps to maintain a younger looking appearance.

Its action is via two simple pathways:

1. To kill pathogens
2. Promote healing

Ozone stimulates endogenous hydrogen peroxide production. The skin produces hydrogen peroxide as a defence mechanism against pathogens. Ozonated oil is therefore a stimulator to the body. Ozonated oil helps with inflammation within 4-6 days. In proliferation and remodelling stages of the skin, ozonated oil promotes tissue repair. This is why ozonated oil is effective at treating acne. By minimising pathogen diffusion and enhancing microcirculation, ozonated oil reduces the swelling, destroys the pathogen, and rapidly heals the skin from damage.

We tend to think that there is one topical treatment for psoriasis, one for acne, one for eczema, etc. however, based on its mechanisms, ozonated oil is a multi-use oil that has been used successfully on over 100 conditions including:

“I would like to predict that the application of ozonated oil, a simple and inexpensive remedy, will become far more useful than expensive pharmaceutical creams and will herald a medical revolution for the topical treatment.”

How can I be sure of the quality of Prozone Health’s ozonated oil?

We are very proud of our oil. Our oil is certified with Bio Vida Sana – a European standard for natural and organic cosmetics. Our oil is measured against a peroxide index. Peroxide values tell you how strong a product is. We ensure full saturation of the base oil with a high potency of ozone.

Our ozonated oil is made through a cold production process. This is vital to ensure that formaldehyde is not present in the oil. Formaldehyde is a by-product of ozonating oil under a heated production method. All ozonated oil products that are a paste consistency contain formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is toxic to the skin and body and can cause irritation. Formaldehyde has been linked to cancers, it can interact with molecules on cell membranes and in body tissues and fluids (e.g. proteins and DNA) and disrupt cellular functions.

Be aware…

The expression of symptoms can be a response to its environment. Topical treatments sometimes do not work as there is a route problem and the skin ailments are an expression /symptom of internal bodily damage. There are a number of environmental toxins that have to be eliminated at a cellular level which can be done via various therapies, e.g. IV ozone where ozone is delivered directly into the bloodstream.
